Horizons for Youth is a shelter for at-risk and homeless youth between the ages of 16-24 years old in Toronto. We provide youth with the support they need to escape from the cycle of poverty and leave the streets behind.
To shelter, prepare and guide homeless and at-risk youth to achieve wellness and become contributing community members
A sharing and growing community where everyone has a home.
We have missed our volunteers over the past few years, having to pause our volunteer opportunities due to the pandemic, and are happy to begin safely welcoming them back to our shelter. We look forward to gradually welcoming back more volunteers, while always keeping the health and safety of everyone at Horizons For Youth the top priority.

Horizons for Youth supports approximately 400 at-risk and homeless youth each year and we could not do this without our incredible volunteers. We welcome individuals, families, community groups and corporate teams to volunteer at our shelter.
